Patch 1.5.19 - 01 Dec 2024

A pretty major change to the way that Momentums can be started, better logging for live learnings, and a brand new select component for user fields. Plus your usual bug fixes and minor improvements.

AR-6299 | Momentum Creation Trigger

There has been a pretty major change to how momentums work. Previously, momentums could only be created by the user manually, but we have big plans for how we could use this in the future. In order to accommodate this we're adding a new type of momentum node called a Trigger. This defines how the momentum is started.

Any existing Momentums will use the Manual Creation Trigger node, which works the exact same way that the current process does, allowing users to create a momentum application when viewing the momentum. Additionally, admins can create a transition from this initial node to any node, instead of being restricted to a form node.

If you are using a Momentum Activity, this process will remain the same. The trigger for this process will work slightly differently to the rest of the creation triggers, and will still follow the logic for creating the momentum application at either course enrolment or when the activity is started.

We've also added a new kind of Trigger Node for the Creation of External Learning. This is designed to accomodate the use case of having an approval step for an external learning. This is just the start though, as we want to keep adding new trigger nodes for other use cases going forward. Watch this space!

AR-6616 | Live Learning Logs

We've created a new page that shows all the logs related to live learnings. This includes both user interactions and admin changes. This page is limited to logs that are relevant to the live learning and content within, but doesn't include any logs about the sessions specifically, as these already have their own logs page within the session.

Additionally, the way we are displaying the changes made to the live learning means that these logs are not retroactive. Retroactive logs do exist, but were not able to be made readable in the same way as these logs.

AR-6308 | Added a new select component to the user field selector

We've made a brand new component for the select field, with better searching and accessibility changes. This will be introduced across the system soon, but we're starting by adding it to the select user field on the self-registration page and in the profile page.

AR-6685 | Session Approval after registration close

There was a case where a user could register for a session before it closes, but if the registration needs approval, the supervisor still can approve the user for session. Now, the registration can no longer be approved once the session closes.

AR-6585 | Closing a form now shows a warning

Admins who are updating forms in feedbacks, quizzes or momentums will now be shown a warning message when closing the form, letting them know that their updates will not be saved.

AR-6637 | Remove references to content in new payment report

Previously, the payment report referenced the content that was purchased. However, with the ability to purchase coupons and licenses, payments are not directly attached to content, so this terminology was not consistent. This has been updated to refer to the purchased item as products instead.

AR-6693 | Cohort Manager license purchases through ANZ Worldline now redirect the user

ANZ Worldline does a slightly different callback process after payments are processed, which resulted in the user being returned to the license page instead of the cohort manager page. This has been updated to match the other payment gateways.

Bug Fixes 🐞 

AR-6630 | Scheduled compliance reports on programs use out of date program content

Using a compliance report on a program as a preset would instantiate the content of that program. When this preset was used later, including in report schedules, the report would not show the updated program reporting.

AR-6684 | Images or videos not copied when coping quiz activity

Copied quizzes will now show all the correct image and video content.

AR-6746 | Quiz submissions not displaying on the grading page

Fixed a bug where quiz submissions where not appearing on the grading page.

AR-6742 | Fixed a bug that caused the new quiz webhooks to be delayed for up to 10 minutes

Changed to request for the webhook to do the the grade calculation immediately, instead of doing a queued calculation before processing the webhook. 

AR-6743 | Pooling and Randomisation for Quizzes now shows correctly for admins when grading

When an admin is doing the grading, the questions they see now match the ones that the user did, including logic for pooling and randomisation.

AR-6786 | Open certificates not displaying for admins

Resolved an issue where open certificates were not appearing on the 'View Certificates' page for admin.

AR-6863 | Email registrants history not displaying correctly

Resolved an issue where the email registrants history was not displaying the correct emails for courses and live learning sessions.
