1.5.24 - 23 Feb 2025

David Cowley David Cowley

This patch has some nice quality of life changes within capability assessment, some new momentum features, and a whole bunch of accessibility improvements to get your hands on.

Version 1.5.24 will be rolling out on all sites from Sunday 23rd, February 2025

What's New! 🎊

AR-7146 | Bookmark API

We've created a new API that can be used to bookmark content for users. This can be used to assign, recommend, or request that users complete specific content within the system, without enrolling them.

Keep an eye out for an upcoming feature that allows supervisors and admins within the system to bookmark content for users as well.

AR-7058 | Added My Capabilities to Capability Assessment

When a user starts a capability assessment, they are presented with all the capabilities available to them to be able to assess. We still want any user to assess against any capability, but we have added a new filter option so that the user can quickly see what capabilities are assigned to them and start an assessment for those. This should improve the flow for users starting their own assessments.

AR-7175 | Add additional capability information to the assessment interface

We received feedback that while users were completing their capability assessment, they were constantly referring to other tabs or windows that contained the full details of the capability they were assessing against, to better understand the different requirements and levels. We agree that this information is highly relevant when completing an assessment, so we made it visible while doing the assessment itself.

AR-7080 | Momentum Transition - User in cohort

Momentum transitions are used to logically progress a momentum application to different nodes. We've added a new transition that will only progress a user if they are in a specific cohort. This means you can send users in different user groups down different paths in the momentum, depending on what team they are in or what kind of access they have to the system. Have external users who need extra approval steps, or want to get more information from users who are in a specific business area? This new transition makes it possible.

Changes ✨

AR-7061 | Remove redundant comment option within Capability Assessment

We received feedback that the comments fields within capability assessment were confusingly redundant, given that there are already multiple opportunities for users completing an assessment to provide free-text responses. The option to add new comments have been removed. Any existing comments remain in the system and can still be viewed from the relevant assessment history pages.

AR-6909 | Allow 'completion after enrolment' option for Acorn-to-Acorn subcourses

The list of completion criteria for subcourse activities includes options for when the subcourse activity should be marked completed. With the recent changes to support re-enrolments for Acorn-to-Acorn content, we have been able to make the "Users must have completed the content after their enrolment date in this course" option available when the admin has chosen Acorn-to-Acorn content. This makes it easier to manage their workflows and compliance.

AR-7148 | Extend Completions Webhook

The completions Webhook now includes more user and content information, as well as custom fields attached to either the content or the user. See the API documentation for more information.

AR-7147 | External Momentum Link

Added a section in the momentum editor that provides the link to access an external momentum.

AR-6892 | Update Calendar to improve screenreader accessibility

The interactive elements on the calendar have been updated with more consistent and more detailed ARIA labelling, to improve usability for screenreader users.

AR-7120 | Improve screenreader labelling for event accordion

Updated the event accordion to have better ARIA labelling, to make it clearer to screenreader users that this is an interactive element.

AR-6895 | Improve keyboard navigability of live learning session filter

The accordion that opens the filters for the live learning event, to show different live learning sessions, has been updated to be easier to navigate to and open using keyboard navigation.

Bug Fixes 🐞

AR-7029 | Improved colour contrast for program progress bar

The program progress bar within the My Stats widget has been updated with a clear border outline and dark versions of the tenancy's chosen colours to better support accessibility requirements.

AR-7018 | Improved colour contrast for Forgot Password button

The Forgot Password button on the login page has been changed to a blue with more contrast to better support accessibility requirements.
