Changes to reportable fields for Reporting Officers

Theo Lionis Theo Lionis

In the upcoming release, 1.3.7, we will be providing administrators with greater control over which user fields are available to Reporting Officers in reporting. From now on, Reporting Officers can only report on user fields designated as Public.

This article will guide you through managing your public user fields, and you can take these steps ahead of the release. This means you can ensure Reporting Officers continue to have access to the necessary user fields.

How to make public user fields

To manage your Custom Fields, you must be either an Acorn Administrator or Tenant Administrator.

  1. From the Admin menu, expand Tenancy Management and click on Manage Custom Fields.
  2. From the User Fields table, click the edit pencil next to the field you want to make public.
  3. Select the "Public" checkbox and ensure it is ticked.
  4. Press Save.

After completing these steps, reporting officers can access the field in their reports. Remember to follow these steps again for each additional custom user field available to reporting officers.

Note: It may take up to 20 minutes for any changes made in custom fields to be reflected in reporting.
