How to Add Capability Widgets to a Tenancy Dashboard
This guide walks you through adding and configuring capability-related widgets to a tenancy dashboard in Acorn.
These widgets help users and supervisors by surfacing insights, progress, and reminders directly on the dashboard.

To add capability widgets to a tenancy dashboard:

Click Admin.

Select Tenancy Management.

Choose the dashboard you want to update.

Click Edit.

Click Add to view available widgets.

Select any of the following capability widgets:

Capability Assessment

Capability Assessment Spider Graph

Capability Plan Progress
-
Supervisor Development Plan Progress

Click Select for each widget you want to include.

Use the layout tools to position and size the widgets as needed.

Click Save to apply your changes.
Widget Overview

Capability Assessment
Displays any outstanding self-assessments the user needs to complete.
Benefit: Promotes timely completion by surfacing tasks directly on login.

Capability Assessment Spider Graph
Shows a visual comparison between the user’s self-assessment, their supervisor’s assessment, and the assigned level.
Benefit: Enables users to quickly identify strengths and development gaps.

Capability Plan Progress
Displays the user’s development plan completion percentage and remaining actions.
Benefit: Encourages ownership of development by highlighting progress and next steps.

Supervisor Development Plan Progress
Visible only to users with supervisor permissions. Summarises each direct report’s progress through their development plans.
Benefit: Gives supervisors oversight of team capability growth in real time.
Tips

Only assign the Supervisor Development Plan Progress widget to dashboards used by people managers.

Avoid overcrowding—place no more than 4–6 widgets per dashboard view.
