What is the Acorn API? The Acorn API is a REST API that allows you to programmatically access and manage your Acorn resources. Full API documentation — including endpoint URLs, request and response formats, and authentication methods — is available on the Acorn Developer Portal. The Acorn API also supports webhooks for real-time event notifications and data updates. To access the API, you must first obtain an API key. API keys are valid for 24 hours; when a key expires, use your Refresh Token to request a new API key and Refresh Token. To help you integrate with the Acorn API, the Developer Portal provides sample code snippets and additional resources. [Raise a request](mailto:support@acorn.works) to our customer team for an API key with the following details - The site you require the API key for. - (Optional) — Provide your Webhook URL endpoint. \*Required for Webhooks. 2. Our customer team will provide you with: - API Key - Refresh Token 3. Explore the [Acorn Developer APIs](https://api.acorn.works/rest/v1.2/#description/rest-apis). 4. Start developing! How do API keys and Refresh Tokens work? Store your API Key and Refresh Token securely as soon as you receive them. Each API Key is valid for 24 hours. To renew your credentials, use your most recent Refresh Token to request a new API Key and Refresh Token.
