Release 1.6.10 - 27 July 2025

It’s the beginning of the quarter, and the team is just getting started on our larger roadmap projects. That means this sprint is intentionally smaller while foundational work kicks off behind the scenes. Still, we’ve managed to squeeze in a few solid improvements and key fixes to improve the platform experience.

Version 1.6.10 will be rolling out on all sites from Sunday 27th July, 2025.

What's New 🎊

AR-8525: Spider Graph Capability Widget Now in Homepage Dashboards

The capability spider graph widget—previously limited to standalone tenancies—is now available for homepage dashboards as well. This means all users can now view a visual breakdown of their capabilities right from the homepage, assuming the widget is enabled for their tenancy.

Why did we do this?
We wanted to bring visual learning insights to more users, especially those accessing content through the LMS. This ensures consistent access to capability tools across environments.

Changes ✨

AR-8337: Campaigns Can Now Target Individual Users

Admins can now select individual users—alongside cohorts—when setting up a capability assessment campaign. Capability selections now apply universally, rather than per cohort, and the campaign review screen has been redesigned for clarity.

Why did we do this?
To make campaigns more flexible, easier to manage, and better aligned with how teams target assessments in practice.

AR-8121: Decorative Image Accessibility Fixes

We’ve added empty alt attributes or aria-hidden labels to decorative images across headers and widgets to improve screenreader output. SVGs and image thumbnails now avoid being read aloud when they don’t convey meaningful content.

Why did we do this?
To eliminate noise and improve clarity for users navigating via screenreader tools, based on findings from accessibility evaluations.

AR-8486: Improved Mobile Comfort for Momentum Forms

We adjusted spacing and interface layouts in Momentum views and forms to make interactions on smaller screens more comfortable. Horizontal padding was reduced, and layout tweaks were made to better fit mobile widths.

Why did we do this?
To make everyday tasks more usable for learners and admins accessing forms on mobile devices.

AR-8364: “Jump To” Navigation for Screenreader Users

A hidden "jump to nav bar" button was added to the session information modals for session instructors and admins. This improves accessibility by allowing screenreader users to skip directly to key navigation elements.

Why did we do this?
The top navigation menu was often missed by screenreader users, as they would have to go back through the page to reach it. This change helps improve their experience and WCAG compliance.

AR-7569: Descriptive Labels on Discount Table Icons

All icon buttons in the Discounts table (inside the Payment Dashboard) now include proper ARIA labels and are fully accessible via keyboard.

Why did we do this?
Icons without labels or incorrect button roles created confusion for users with screenreaders. This brings the UI in line with accessibility best practices.
