AR-8881: Simplified Capability Assessment Campaign Creation Flow
We’ve introduced a redesigned campaign creation experience that streamlines the entire process. Instead of juggling configurations, admins now simply choose to send assessments either to specific users or specific cohorts—no more complex combinations.
The updated design also introduces safeguards: if a user already has a pending assessment, you’ll be warned before accidentally sending duplicates. Unused options like notes and capability-specific targeting have been removed for a much smoother experience.
Why did we do this?
Campaigns were overcomplicated for many admins. The new flow reduces decision fatigue and makes it easier to manage large-scale assessments.

AR-8823: Removed “Show Answers During Quiz” Setting
The “Show Answers During Quiz” option has been hidden from the quiz setup interface to prevent accidental use of a feature currently undergoing fixes.
Why did we do this?
This prevents learners from encountering misleading functionality while we rework the feature behind the scenes.
AR-7566: Capability Preview Modal Now Mobile-Friendly
Refactored the capability preview modal to properly wrap and display content on mobile devices, eliminating horizontal scrolling and overflow issues.
Why did we do this?
Mobile users were struggling with readability and layout problems — this change improves accessibility and usability on smaller screens.
AR-8882: History Button Now Appears for First-Time Assessments
Supervisors can now see the history button as soon as a team member submits a capability assessment, even if it’s the first one.
Why did we do this?
To give reviewers full context earlier in the review process and ensure no team member feedback is missed.
AR-8886: Rating History Toggle for Assigned Capabilities
A toggle was added to the rating history chart to show only ratings for a user’s assigned capabilities (enabled by default).
Why did we do this?
This helps supervisors and admins filter noise and focus on what's most relevant.
AR-8930: Added Marking Workflow Toggle to Assignments
A new setting has been added to assignment activities allowing admins to enable the Marking Workflow. When activated, grades and feedback remain hidden until they’re manually released — rather than being shown to learners immediately upon saving.
Why did we do this?
This gives instructors more control over when students see their results, helping ensure feedback is polished and ready before it's shared.
AR-8972: Updated UI Label in Application Form
Removed the word "Prefill" from the application name field label to avoid user confusion.
Why did we do this?
The term was misleading, and user testing showed it disrupted onboarding flow.
AR-7541: Mobile View Improvements for Capabilities
CSS adjustments made to ensure capability views display properly on mobile.
Why did we do this?
To reduce overflow and horizontal scrolling issues across devices.
Bug Fixes 🐞
AR-9014: Fixed Acorn-to-Acorn Sync Issue
Sync failures caused by stale API keys were resolved by refreshing content keys mid-process.
AR-9012: Partnered Content Filter Not Loading in Program Builder
Fixed an issue where partnered content failed to load when using filters, even though direct search worked.
AR-8960: Deactivated Momentums Not Visible to Acorn Admins
Admins can now view deactivated momentum records as expected.
AR-8915: Application Button Removed for Unsubmitted Entries
Removed inconsistent "Open Application" button from the timeline view if the application has not been submitted.
AR-8908: Missing Translation for "Updated" Status
Translation for the “Updated” status now displays properly across all resource types.
AR-8903: Decimal Inconsistency in CPD Reports
Fixed rounding issue where category totals used 1 decimal, while overall totals used 2.

Form report now correctly displays a single response per field.
