Release 1.6.17 - Coming Soon

This release continues to support the preview rollout of our redesigned content catalogue, with improvements to backend reliability and user interface clarity. We’ve also resolved key bugs affecting enrolments, reporting accuracy, and admin workflows. You’ll also notice new behind-the-scenes functionality to support the upcoming Momentum Blueprints feature.

Version 1.6.17 will be rolling out on all sites from Sunday 27th October, 2025

Changes ✨

AR-8881: Capability Assessment Campaign Creation — New Targeting Options

Admins can now send assessment campaigns directly to specific users, using either their assigned or interested capabilities—no more need to manually mix cohorts or capability lists.
Why did we do this?
To make campaign targeting faster, more precise, and easier to manage for admins.

AR-8981: New Setting for Momentum Blueprint Access (Not Yet Enabled)

A new tenancy-level setting has been added to support access control for Momentum Blueprints. While this setting is not yet active in production, it lays the groundwork for a permission-based rollout in future releases.
Why did we do this?
To prepare for phased enablement of blueprints across clients while allowing internal testing and configuration.

AR-9208: ‘On Course Completion’ Momentum Node Missing Information for Learners

Resolved an issue where the ‘On Course Completion’ trigger node didn’t show enough detail to learners, making it unclear what the momentum was doing.

AR-7829: Capability Report Now Combines Duplicate Entries

The capability report has been updated to combine assigned, interested and focused levels into a single line per user, avoiding duplicated entries when both levels apply.
Why did we do this?
To make reporting cleaner and easier to read, especially when reviewing user capability data at a glance.

AR-7600: Improved Form Response Handling for Accessibility

The FormResponseHandler component was enhanced to better support accessibility needs and future design flexibility. Updates include improved focus management, cleaner styling across background variations, and support for live alerts when validation messages appear.
Why did we do this?
To improve usability and ensure form interactions are accessible and adaptable across different UI scenarios.

AR-6739: Added Hebrew and Portuguese as Language Options

Two new languages - Hebrew and Portuguese - are now available in the system. They can be selected by users on the Profile page or configured at the tenancy level as the default for all users.
Why did we do this?
To support a growing global user base with more internationalisation options.

Bug Fixes 🐞

AR-8263: Supervisors Incorrectly Listed as Their Own Team Members in Widgets

Fixed an issue where supervisors viewing reporting widgets—such as Supervisor Training History and Development Plan Progress—would incorrectly see themselves listed as part of their own team. Supervisors still appear in reporting where relevant, but are now properly excluded from widgets.

AR-9358: Go1 Sync Failing on ‘Retired’ Status

Fixed a backend error preventing content from syncing when 'Retired' status was present. Content will now correctly be marked as deactivated in Acorn when retired in Go1.

AR-9240: Concurrent User Creation Requests Caused Errors

Fixed an issue where multiple identical user creation requests sent in quick succession could cause database write errors. This commonly occurred when clients submitted concurrent API calls, leading to failed enrolments or unclear error messages. The system now handles duplicate requests more gracefully, avoiding crashes and improving reliability.

AR-9213: Momentum Nodes Fail When Target Course Was Deactivated

Fixed an issue where Momentum applications failed to enrol users if a node pointed to a deactivated course. While the automation marked the application as completed, no enrolment occurred, causing confusing and inconsistent behaviour. The update now ensures the system either blocks selection of deactivated courses or properly handles the failure path with clear feedback.

AR-8738: Misaligned ‘Mark All Attendance’ Button

UI fix to align the button in the View/Take Attendance modal.

AR-8124: Completions Missing for Paid Courses Triggered by Momentum

Fixed a bug where users enrolled via Momentum into paid courses wouldn’t appear in the course completion interface.

AR-7976: Deleted Users Now Displayed Clearly in Momentum Reports

Momentum reports now show “Deleted User” when a user has been removed, improving clarity in reporting.
