What's New 🎊
AR-8266: New Spider Graph Widget for Capabilities
We’ve added a brand-new spider graph widget as an option for both capabilities and the main homepage. This visual widget gives a quick, intuitive view of capability strengths and gaps at a glance. It supports clearer insights for users tracking performance and development needs across multiple metrics.
Why did we do this?
To deliver a more interactive and digestible view of capabilities, especially for teams and supervisors who need fast visual feedback.
AR-7916: Report Presets Now Support Post-Filtering
Users can now configure post-filter options (like toggling visible data) and save them directly into custom report presets. This enhancement is available across several major reports including Content Completion, Course Progress, and User Reports. This also works with schedules, so you can now rely on the same data being front and centre, every time.
Why did we do this?
To make scheduled and manual reports more useful by remembering exactly how you want your data filtered and displayed.
AR-8326: Auto-Detect Language Preference for New Users
During login, the system now checks a user’s browser language and applies it to their account settings automatically (unless a manual preference is already set). This includes new logins before account setup is complete. NOTE: This feature is optional. if you are interested in using this feature, please contact us and we can enable it for you.
Why did we do this?
To streamline onboarding and reduce friction for new users, especially in multilingual tenancies.

AR-7774: Limit Added to Capability Proficiency Levels
New capability libraries are now capped at a maximum of 7 proficiency levels. This limit applies across the platform and ensures that capability structures remain user-friendly and visually consistent.
Why did we do this?
To maintain a clear, accessible UI and avoid clutter in capability-related views.
AR-8112: Enhanced Aria Labels for Table Search and Sort Controls
We’ve improved the aria-labels used in search and sort controls across all tables, including the Training History, Reporting, Momentum, and many more. These labels now provide clearer descriptions, including current sort state and field context.
Why did we do this?
To support better screenreader navigation and improve usability in all data-heavy sections of the platform.
AR-8220: Improved Text Positioning for Checkboxes and Radios
We've updated how text and content are positioned next to checkbox and radio inputs within forms. This ensures that labels, descriptions, and additional content now align more cleanly, especially in complex form layouts.
Why did we do this?
To enhance the readability and usability of forms, particularly for inputs that include rich or nested content alongside standard labels.
AR-8218: Live Session Modals Now Pull Focus
When opened via keyboard or screen reader, session modals now correctly pull focus to the modal container, rather than leaving users in the previous session table.
Why did we do this?
To improve accessibility and ensure smooth navigation for all users.
AR-8114: Accessibility Labels and Focus for Momentum Table Action Buttons
Action buttons within Momentum tables (e.g., overview, history, reporting) now include descriptive aria-labels and proper focus behaviour. This makes it easier for screenreader users to understand and interact with actions like editing or viewing details.
Why did we do this?
To improve accessibility and ensure all users can interact with table controls confidently.
AR-7963: Improved Calendar Widget Accessibility
Buttons in calendar widgets have been updated with proper icons and descriptive aria labels like “see next month” and “see previous month.” The empty “current” button has also been removed.
Why did we do this?
To clean up the UI and make calendar navigation clearer and more accessible.
AR-8120: Improved Focus Handling Between Momentum Stages
Navigating between stages in a Momentum application now correctly moves keyboard and screenreader focus to the top of the new stage. This change avoids disorientation when forms are navigated using the Previous/Next buttons.
Why did we do this?
To enhance accessibility by ensuring screenreader users stay contextually grounded when navigating multi-stage forms.
AR-8122: Migrated “Radio with Other” Inputs to Acorn-UI Components
The form input type for “radio with other” has been fully migrated to use standardised Acorn-UI components. This update improves consistency, accessibility, and maintainability across forms that use this pattern.
Why did we do this?
To align with UI component standards and resolve accessibility issues related to unlabelled form inputs in Momentum.
🐞 Bug Fixes
AR-8314: Pagination Restored on Pending Applications Page
Fixed a bug that caused pagination info to be missing from the pending applications view in Momentum.
AR-8054: Improved Required Field Markup on Register Page
Updated the HTML attributes on the email and username fields to more clearly indicate when they are required, ensuring users receive accurate validation feedback during registration.
AR-8305: Date Picker Options Corrected in Momentum Reminders
Fixed an issue where certain valid date types were being incorrectly restricted during reminder setup.
AR-8335: “Other” Checkbox Auto-Unchecks When Empty
Fixed a form logic bug where the “Other” option remained selected even if its text input was cleared.
AR-8308: Fixed Capability Crashes on Supervisor Dashboard
Resolved an issue that caused certain capabilities to crash when accessed via the Supervisor Dashboard.
AR-8307: Username Alignment Corrected in Review Section
Fixed a layout issue where usernames in the “Assessment Request Pending Review” section were misaligned.
AR-8287: Font Colour Corrected for Momentum Restrictions
Corrected the font colour on restriction labels in Momentum to match style guidelines.
AR-8167: Discount Display Fixed on Course Pages
Resolved an issue where discounts were not shown correctly on internal and external course views.
AR-8285: Fixed Save Issue for Detached Momentum Forms
Resolved a bug where users couldn’t save changes to Momentum forms after they were detached from their original template.
AR-8286: Fixed Incorrect Completion Status on Early Unenrolment
Resolved an issue where unenrolling from a course prematurely would incorrectly mark a linked Momentum application as finished.
