Release 1.7.11 brings new flexibility for how teams run Capability assessments and a Registrant-Only Session Details field for Face-to-Face sessions - alongside meaningful improvements to mobile SCORM completion reliability and Live Learning calendar exports.

Capability Advanced Configuration - Choose how Capabilities work in your tenancy. A new admin menu lets administrators run Capabilities with full assessments, with self-assessments only (no supervisor sign-off), or without any assessment at all - giving teams the flexibility to match Capabilities to the way they actually run capability tracking.
Registrant-Only Session Details for Face-to-Face Sessions - Share private logistics with registered learners separately from your public listing. Face-to-Face sessions now support a new "Registrant Details" field alongside the existing public description. Registered learners see this content in their calendar invite (registration confirmation and session update emails) and on the session details page once registered, while everyone else sees only the public Session Description.

Remove Content Sharing courses now open in-page - SCORM courses launched via Remote Content Sharing now open within the host page instead of a new browser window. This significantly reduces lost completions on mobile devices, where popup windows were often killed by the browser when learners switched tabs or backgrounded the app, causing progress to be lost before it could be reported back.
Calendar CSV export now includes IDs (Live Learning) - Live Learning calendar exports now include Live Learning ID, Live Learning Event ID, and Session ID columns alongside the existing name columns, making it easier to reconcile calendar data against other Acorn reports.
Tenancy name in Content Completion Report - The Content Completion Report now includes a tenancy name column, so multi-tenant administrators no longer need to map tenancy IDs by hand.
Clearer MFA verification emails - MFA verification emails now include an identifying header showing which Acorn site the code is for, making it easier for users with access to multiple sites to know where to enter the code.
Session Instructor Details visibility setting - Administrators can now control when session instructor details are shown to learners.
Learner Engagement copy and entry-point polish - Copy and entry-point refinements across Learner Engagement.
Capability admin polish - Audit log access in Capability admin now opens in a dedicated modal, and switching between Capability assessment modes prompts for confirmation to prevent accidental changes.
Reporting language string updates - Refreshed language strings across the Reporting module, supporting clearer copy and easier re-translation for customers running Acorn in non-English locales.
