Release 1.7.17 introduces a major upgrade to the Acorn API - API Deltas and a refreshed documentation experience, arriving 5 August - alongside accessibility improvements across Interactions and a broad set of fixes across Momentum, reporting, and Learner Engagement.
What's New 🎊
API Deltas and refreshed API documentation - From 5 August, we're rolling out a major upgrade to the Acorn API. API Deltas lets your integrations sync only what's changed: request the records created or updated since your last sync using a new updatedSince parameter, with pagination for large result sets, instead of pulling the full dataset every time - so syncs are faster and far lighter to run. It launches first on the completions API, with support for more of the API to follow. Alongside it, our public API documentation moves to a new, faster site with a changelog, making it easier to find what you need and track how the API evolves.
Improvements ✨
Accessibility improvements across Interactions - Interactions now works better with screen readers. Buttons that open a panel or dialog announce what they will do before you activate them, captured examples and assessment options use proper list and grouping structure so they can be navigated and counted, and page headings follow a correct hierarchy.
Bug Fixes 🐞
Fixed an issue in Momentum where the workflow history page could time out for approvers and facilitators with a large number of transitions; history now loads reliably regardless of volume. (CORE-122)
Fixed an issue where the Momentum timeline page could crash for applications created from older workflows that contained an incomplete step. (CORE-159)
Fixed an issue in Momentum where saving a blueprint could appear to hang, with no confirmation that the save had succeeded. (CORE-175)
Fixed an issue where email (mailto:) links could no longer be saved in the Link Block widget. (CORE-180)
Fixed an issue where valid Australian mobile numbers in the 0494 range were incorrectly rejected when saving a user. (CORE-198)
Fixed an issue in reporting where filtering on a multi-select user field returned users who only partially matched the selected value instead of an exact match. (CORE-203)
Fixed an issue in reporting where the content name column was missing from form-template reports. (CORE-46)
Fixed an issue in licence settings where toggling the free or restricted cohorts checkbox cleared existing cohort assignments without warning. (LEARN-57)
Fixed an issue where learners who had already completed a course could receive "in progress" Learner Engagement emails. (LEARN-83)
Fixed an issue in programs where partnered content that was not licensed to your site could appear in the content picker. (LEARN-98)
