Changes ✨
AR-6974 Add consistent ARIA labelling to widget titles
We found that the screen-reading of widgets titles on the widget dashboard were not consistently descriptive. We changed all widgets to have an appropriate description for screenreaders.
AR-7043 Icons within button components missing ARIA label
We also found that the screen-reading of icons across had a similar inconsistency. These have been updated to use consistent language, mostly affecting icon buttons.
AR-6880 Improved the keyboard navigation for feedback forms and quizzes
We resolved a few question types with non-ideal navigation or interaction issues, so that keyboard navigation is improved.
AR-6937 Focus pulling after catalogue modal is opened
Made an update to ensure that the focus remains in the content preview modal after content is loaded, instead of returning to the top of the page.
AR-6885 Improved navigation focus in capability assessment process
The audio cues for navigating within capability assessment, particularly tab navigation, has been improved so that it is much clearer where the user is located on the page.
AR-7024 Improved navigation focus on the homepage tabs
The main homepage tabs previously had focus indication that did not match contrast requirements for many custom tenancy colours. We have made an update that improves the focus to be visible, regardless of the tenancy colours.
AR-6874 Added clearer navigation for section navigation for my learning and training history
The tabs to access the training history from the my learning page were not consistent with the rest of the system. These have been updated to reflect correct navigation conventions.
This also included improvements to the visual indicators when these tabs are in focus.
AR-6221 Prevent catalogue cards from becoming too large under certain conditions
Content cards on the catalogue could be displayed as very tall and narrow under specific content description and screen size combinations. We've identified and resolved the cause of this unusual display problem.
AR-7026 Change non-description div tags into article tags in the catalogue
The catalogue page has more descriptive sectioning so screenreader users can easily jump to what is important to them, and infer better meaning from the list of catalogue results.
AR-7098 Limit cohort fields conditions to 200
Cohort user field conditions can be used to add users automatically to cohorts. The number of conditions that can be applied to each cohort is now limited to 200. This was introduced to improve the performance of calculating cohorts, creating users and running bulk user uploads.
Bug Fixes 🐞
AR-6046 Suspended users still showing up in reporting
Fixed an issue where certain suspended users were appearing in reports when the "Show Suspended Users" option was not enabled.
AR-6996 Session approval history is missing.
Fixed an issue where session approval requests that also had a payment attached would not appear in the supervisors page until it has been approved. These approval requests will now always appear, regardless of payment status.
AR-7002 Grader unable to add comments for Quiz Plus
Prevent a quiz from reaching a state where the quiz grader was unable to add comments to a user's submission.
AR-6867 Go to current stage button did not correctly update focus
Pressing the go to current stage button in momentum would scroll the page to the correct location, but keyboard focus would remain on the button. This has been updated to match where the page moves to.
AR-6866 Added correct alternate text to momentum application page
The momentum application page did not have correct alternate text, meaning that screenreaders could not correctly describe the element of the page. Alt text has been added.
AR-6875 Checkbox did not have correct descriptive text for screen reader
Using the checkbox within the capability development plan did not properly describe what the user was interactive with, instead using generic description of elements. Updated descriptive text has now been included.
AR-6935 Reduce the size of the main production bundle
The amount that users need to download on an initial load of the platform is greatly reduced, meaning that users on slow networks will be able to load the site more quickly.
