Release 1.7.20 - 9 Sep 2026

Release 1.7.20 brings a new capability assessment API - alongside improvements to SSO email deeplinks, terminology and translation, and SMS protection, plus fixes across Momentum reporting, partnered content and cohort management.

What's New 🎊

Capability assessment API - Bring capability data into your own systems. New read-only API endpoints return a single user's capability ratings, or a bulk feed of assessment results across your tenancy. The bulk feed supports incremental sync, so an integration pulls only what has changed since its last request.

Improvements ✨

SSO email deeplinks for self-serve Single Sign-On - The SSO Deeplinks toggle on the Email Templates settings page routes links in system emails through your SSO login. It is now available to tenancies using self-serve Single Sign-On, where previously it appeared only for those on the older SSO integration.

Terminology and translation fixes - Statuses and labels that ignored your terminology settings and locale now respect them. This covers course and content status, where "Not enrolled" always showed in English; page status on Pages and Thought Leadership, which also ignored Terminology Editor overrides; due-date text on catalogue cards; and the remove-bookmark action.

Improved protection for SMS delivery - To protect your platform against SMS abuse, text messages, including multi-factor authentication codes, are now sent only to phone numbers in supported countries. By default these are Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, and the registration phone field shows this list. Existing saved numbers are unaffected, and anyone whose number isn't in a supported country can still verify by email. If your organisation has users in other countries, contact support and we'll add them for you.

Bug Fixes 🐞

Fixed an issue where a capability assessment would not load if its form contained an instructional text field that had been left empty. (CD-274)

Fixed an issue where turning off a licence's free or restricted cohort toggle while cohorts were still assigned removed every one of those cohorts on save, with no warning. (LEARN-199)

Fixed an issue where the Select Partnered Content picker on a subcourse activity never finished loading for tenancies with large partnered content libraries. (LEARN-186)

Fixed an issue where a bulk completion, enrolment or attendance upload that matched content by name created a duplicate course when the content name contained double quotes. (LEARN-60)

Fixed an issue where cohort join requests from suspended and deleted users appeared in the Manage Requests list and could still be approved. (LEARN-73)

Fixed an issue where Go1 partnered content sync did not complete for integrations spanning very large numbers of tenants. (LEARN-204)

Fixed an issue in Momentum reporting where adding fields from a second category cleared the data already shown in columns from the first. (CORE-179)

Fixed an issue where the view more button on the Pending Momentum widget opened an older version of the pending applications page, from which users without administrator access could not navigate back. (CORE-264)

Fixed an issue where an interaction created against a capability outside a user's assigned set did not appear anywhere in My Learning. (VI-451)
